The Best of the Twenty3 Toolbox: November

November has been a memorable month of football – and it has given the Twenty3 Toolbox plenty to sink its teeth into.

With crunch international clashes, Premier League thrillers and key games throughout the footballing pyramid, there’s certainly been enough action to keep our various customers busy.

So, we’ve highlighted a few examples of how the Content Toolbox has been utilised across the past few weeks…

LiveScore

LiveScore are long-time users of the Toolbox and regularly incorporate visualisations into their social posts.

This post highlighting Antoine Griezmann’s amazing output in LaLiga this calendar year did particularly well, using a simple – but effective – pair of ranked tables for goals and assists, alongside an eye-catching image.

The remarkable rise and dazzling skills of 16-year-old Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal is encapsulated well in this post, which looks at the best dribblers under the age of 23 in Europe’s top five leagues.

LiveScore also use Toolbox graphics to supplement their data-driven analytical articles.

This piece, for instance, takes a closer look at Phil Foden and his numbers for both Manchester City and England – with the accompanying player stats card below.

Squawka

Squawka, too, are superb at utilising the Content Toolbox successfully on social media.

Their striking graphics frequently feature visualisations – such as this one of Cole Palmer, which includes a shot placement map specifically for his penalties.

Virgil van Dijk’s return to his best form this term is underlined here, with a list ranking the top 10 Premier League players by duel success rate.

This pair of posts demonstrates the capacity for the Toolbox’s assets to be used in a variety of ways. The first is embedded into a more intricate image than the second – different, but equally effective.

Sporting Life

We were very pleased to announce our partnership with Sporting Life last month and they have continued to make excellent use of the Toolbox.

An analysis piece on Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke features an xG shot map, as the article looks at the Englishman’s goal tally in relation to the quality of his chances.

Sporting Life have also been utilising the Toolbox on social media, in the form of an EFL Team of the Week series – fully branded and customised, just like their in-article images.

William Hill

William Hill continue to enhance their social media content with graphics from the Toolbox.

Stats tables like the examples below allow them to generate debate on their channels, while also informing customers about the underlying data behind their decisions.

They’ve used plenty of visually impactful graphics too, such as this heat map – after Jérémy Doku racked up a remarkable five goal contributions against Bournemouth earlier this month.

Vanarama

Vanarama’s Toolbox-powered Team of the Week graphics are a favourite with non-league fans, and this example – a carousel featuring teams for the National League, National League North and National League South – is no different.

Posts highlighting the fine performances of individuals are commonplace as well, such as this stats card, used in conjunction with a Player of the Month award.

All visualisations in this article were produced with the Twenty3 Toolbox. For more information, please get in touch below.
