Twenty3 announce major content partnership with LiveScore

Twenty3 are excited to announce a major new content partnership with world-leading sports media organisation, LiveScore.

The agreement will see Twenty3 collaborate with LiveScore on overall media and content strategy, while the sports technology company will also lead on content production and licence their proprietary data product, the Twenty3 Toolbox, to enrich and optimise LiveScore content across all digital properties.

LiveScore, the Official Global Scoring Partner of LaLiga Santander, began life as a provider of real-time sports updates and statistics, but, while remaining true to their roots, have since expanded into a global sports media business, delivering premium content and engaging products that enhance the experience of fans across a number of major sports and 200 territories.

Last year, they launched a live streaming service and, by the end of the 2020/21 season, will have shown over 1,000 matches from some of the biggest leagues in the world – including Serie A and the Eredivisie – all available to their users free-to-air.

Twenty3 have been working closely with LiveScore over the past six months to formulate a media and content strategy to maximise the potential of their considerable assets and engage their users more than ever before.

As part of the agreement, Twenty3 will produce a range of videos and bespoke articles each week, all of which will live in the brand new Watch and recently revamped News sections of the LiveScore App.

The content will consist of highlights, exclusive shows, in-depth analysis, news, data insight, interviews and more, making LiveScore the go-to destination for sports fans across the globe.

Twenty3 will also work closely with LiveScore’s marketing and sponsorship teams to provide support on any regular or standalone campaigns and activations.

The Twenty3 Toolbox will play an integral part in some of the video-on-demand featured analysis shows, and will also be utilised by LiveScore’s editorial team across their website, app and social media channels to deliver insightful, engaging and premium content to their audience in an efficient manner.

Vivion Cox, Twenty3 Founder, said:

“At Twenty3 we are delighted and beyond excited to be part of the LiveScore journey.  We firmly believe LiveScore are on a pathway to changing the way we consume sports content, and by bringing Twenty3’s tech, insight and storytelling capabilities to the mix we really think it can be a winning combination.”

The LiveScore App, which boasts active users across 200 global territories, was recently shortlisted for the  “App of the Year” award in the upcoming Sports Technology Awards 2021.

Rob Brown, Head of Media for LiveScore Group, added:

“We are really pleased to be working closely with Twenty3 as we significantly ramp up the content offering across all LiveScore channels.
